Browns and Blues

The Ellison family is a chef, a baker, and four future gourmands.

Matt earned a degree in Culinary Arts at Le Cordon Bleu, and has worked in a variety of Minnesota restaurants over the past 17 years.

Jess is an educator and self-taught amateur baker. The four kids love to be in the kitchen and will try just about any food put in front of them (at least once!).

Browns and Blues is the name of our cooking empire, which is small now but we have big ideas for the future. Three brown-eyed Ellisons and three blue-eyed Ellisons can't wait to share our love of food with you.
